“I have been lucky enough to acquire some truly incredible art from Emily. The pour paint projects she's given me combine vibrant colors and realism to make animals such as the lion, the giraffes, horses, and the wolf all come to life in my bedroom. She brings real places to life with vibrant color choices too, like her Great Sand Dunes National Park oil piece that I have a print of. She also has the ability to go deeper with her art, and bring the viewer to a state of introspection as well as empathy. The print she gave me of her piece, "Life and Death" really makes me think every time I look at it. Duality is represented so well by the image and her colors and I can relate that theme to current things happening in my life. There are also pieces Emily has made that are very unique in the physical sense. One of these pieces I am babysitting for her, "Through the Illusions" is an acrylic pour paint project done on canvas, but she painted several hundred dots all colored and outlined specifically to reveal the two faces painted behind everything (through the illusion). The way the dots are placed over the faces makes them seem like they are popping out and almost give it a 3D like effect, and is one of the most unique pieces I've ever seen.

I love how dynamic Emily's art is. She has made some unique abstract pieces, like the stoney goldfish piece or the other gold and blue abstract print I bought from her at her art show. You can see that abstract vibe crossover with her realism in pieces like "Mother Nature" where the rocks have what almost looks like faces drawn on them. This is another piece that is very distinctive to Emily and her style. I can't wait to see what she makes next!”

David says:

“I tend to notice the smaller more abstract shapes working together to form natural more familiar shapes. Colors and shading are raw and realistic while also appearing somewhat mystical. The range of styles and mediums is wide and yet each piece delivers a consistent signature feeling. .”
